С Новым Годом 2018 Happy New Year! Greetings as we start 2018!
A happy and blessed New Year to all the Faithful and friends in the parishes I serve in Cheltenham and Cardiff. May God continue to bless us.
This month, according to the Church calendar is when we celebrate the Nativity of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The busy schedule means that we will be serving the Christmas Vigil on Saturday 6th/Divine Liturgy 7th January in Cardiff. All those that can make the journey are very welcome, and to the parish meal afterwards.
Please note the new location details Nazareth House, Colum Rd, Cardiff CF10 3UN: check website: Additionally, Cardiff will be visited by Vladyka His Grace Bishop Irenei, Administrator of our Diocese. He will serve a Hierarchal Liturgy on Saturday 20th January. Please check the parish and diocese websites for details along with other visits scheduled by Vladyka.
Here is the schedule for services in the two parishes I look after: I hope that as many of you can attend the dates in January and February. Please note the times for confession and also that we ask those who attend to bring food to share.

As referenced in my last email, the Chancellor of our Diocese of Great Britain and Ireland Fr Paul Elliott, is expecting to attend a special meeting that we aim to schedule on a weekday evening during February to address the various challenges and opportunities facing our Cheltenham Parish. We will advise the date for this important meeting in a separate email. It is vital that as many of you as possible commit to attending this meeting and, of course, the Liturgies that are organised.
May the Lord Jesus Christ Our Lord and Saviour grant you peace and joy throughout this Holy Season.
Forgive me, for Christ’s sake.
In Christ – Fr Mark
